£20 barrier who pays
On APP Luton Economy, the customer pays £10 entry at handover and £10 exit on return, direct to the airport or Luton service provider. It is not an Air Park Pro add-on buried after payment.
On Luton Premium, standard barrier and drop-off fees are included for up to 15 minutes. Stay inside that window on drop-off and collection to avoid the Economy-style £20 barrier bill. A late call or slow handover past 15 minutes can still leave excess charges, so follow the 20-minute pre-arrival call.
Keep this separate from Luton Airport’s public Express Drop Off zone for friends or taxis. Do not mix that public ANPR tariff with APP Economy’s £10 in + £10 out. ULEZ note: Luton sits outside London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone, but APP does not cover ULEZ.
