Why Corporate Travellers Choose Business Class Meet & Greet at Heathrow (Not Valet)

For many finance, legal and consulting teams, business class airport parking Heathrow is not a luxury line on the expense form. It is how you protect a company car, keep a tight connection, and return to a vehicle ready for the next client meeting. Official Heathrow Valet looks convenient on paper. Corporate travellers who compare the full product often choose Air Park Pro (APP) Business Class Meet & Greet instead.

Business Class is Heathrow only. There is no Business Class at Luton. The complimentary EV charge and exterior car wash sit on this Heathrow tier alone. APP does not cover ULEZ on any package. Always check live rates before you book.

Business Class M&G vs Official Heathrow Valet – The Real Difference

Official Heathrow Valet Parking is the airport’s own premium forecourt drop: you leave the car at a dedicated terminal reception, staff move it to on-airport storage, and it waits in Terminal Parking on return. Heathrow also sells official Meet & Greet inside Terminal Parking, with 360-degree condition photos at some terminals.

APP Business Class is a commercial Meet & Greet product, not the official Valet badge. The differences that matter for corporate parking Heathrow are:

PointOfficial Heathrow ValetAPP Business Class M&G (Heathrow)
Drop-off styleTerminal forecourt valet receptionDesignated Short Stay / terminal meeting point per booking
Where the car sleepsOn-airport storageAPP Certified secure compound
Condition evidenceDigital / visual inspection (product-dependent)Timestamped photos including odometer at drop-off and return
EV charging while you flyHeathrow states no EV charging in its car parksComplimentary charge on commercial Type 2 / CCS points (aim 100% on return)
Exterior cleanNot a published Valet inclusionComplimentary exterior car wash before return
Driver vettingAirport staff processDBS-checked, insured APP Certified associates
ULEZYour TfL liability if non-compliantYour TfL liability; APP never covers ULEZ

Both get you out of the car quickly. Only Business Class builds EV readiness and a wash into the parking product. That is why many Heathrow executive parking searches end on Meet & Greet with inclusions, not Valet alone.

What corporate travellers actually need

Expense teams and frequent flyers tend to ask the same five questions:

  1. 1. Time. Can I hand over keys and walk straight to check-in without a shuttle wait?
  2. 2. Custody. Who drives the car, are they DBS-checked, and is there a photo trail?
  3. 3. Asset care. Will mileage and bodywork be logged for a company vehicle audit?
  4. 4. Energy. If it is an EV or PHEV, will I collect a usable charge for the drive home?
  5. 5. Clarity. What is included, what is not (especially ULEZ), and what does the live quote show?

Official Valet answers time and on-airport convenience. It does not answer mid-stay EV charging. Heathrow’s own guidance is clear: it does not currently provide EV charging in any of its car parks, and recommends charging before arrival.

Corporate parking Heathrow buyers who run electric fleets or leased executive vehicles therefore need a product that moves the car to a commercial charger. Business Class fills that gap and adds an exterior wash so the car does not return travel-dusted after a week in storage.

Brief your travellers to call about 20 minutes before arrival, use the Short Stay meeting point on the confirmation, leave at least 50 miles of EV range, remove valuables, and check ULEZ status on TfL’s checker. APP does not pay that charge.

The Business Class APP guarantee (DBS-checked, timestamped photos, odometer)

Valet parking Heathrow 2026 trust is process, not slogans. Business Class is built around a chain of custody you can show a fleet manager:

  • DBS-checked drivers. APP Certified associates are background-checked, with driving-history review and commercial road-risk insurance for public-road transfers.
  • Timestamped condition photos. Bodywork views are recorded at handover so pre-existing marks are not argued later.
  • Odometer logging. Mileage at drop-off and return creates a baseline for transfer-only movement.
  • Return photo match. The same discipline on collection closes the loop before you leave the meeting point.
  • Bookable identity. Confirm name and booking reference before you hand over keys. If anything feels wrong, call support first.

That paper trail separates booked Business Class from unverified roadside Meet & Greet. For company cars, it is also what finance expects when something looks off.

100% EV charge on commercial chargers

Official airport car parks still leave EV drivers to charge before they arrive. Business Class at Heathrow includes a complimentary EV charge as standard. The car goes to a commercial Type 2 / CCS point during the stay, with the aim of a 100% charge on return.

That inclusion is Heathrow Business Class only. On Park & Ride, Economy and Premium, EV charging may be a paid add-on; this post does not quote that price. Luton has no Business Class and no EV charging on APP bookings.

Leave enough range at drop-off, bring the correct cable or adapter if needed, and remember a full battery can still depend on charger network availability. ULEZ remains the driver’s TfL responsibility if the car is non-compliant.

Premium carwash before return

Business Class also includes a complimentary exterior car wash before collection. After days in a compound, salt, dust and rain film build up. Returning a washed company car to a client car park or head-office driveway is a small detail that reads as professional.

Wash plus full charge is why the tier is positioned as all-inclusive Meet & Greet rather than Valet storage alone. Confirm inclusions on the Business Class service page when you brief a travel policy.

Heathrow Approved Operator + Park Mark

Corporate buyers should ask for credentials they can verify:

  • Heathrow Approved Operator trust messaging on the APP homepage for commercial Meet & Greet
  • Park Mark Safer Parking Award preference for APP Certified compounds (gated site, CCTV, lighting, patrols)
  • APP Certified vetting of partners for insurance, compound standards and driver checks

Prefer named process over logo bingo: photos, mileage, DBS, compound standards and a real support line.

Price comparison: APP Business Class vs official Heathrow on-the-day rates

Do not invent an APP Business Class price in a blog post. Rates move with dates, duration and demand. Use the live quote on /book/.

For official context, Heathrow publishes drive-up style figures for its premium Meet & Greet / Valet products. Effective 6 January 2026, heathrow.com lists day-one pricing from £143.40, with multi-day ladders such as £195.70 (2 days), £246.60 (3 days) and £297.50 (4 days), then £38.70 per additional 24-hour period (or part thereof). Heathrow also notes Valet itself is advance-booking only, so always confirm the live official quote for your terminal and dates.

How to compare fairly for a company trip:

  1. 1. Pull the official Valet or Meet & Greet quote for the same entry and exit times
  2. 2. Pull the APP Business Class live quote for the same window
  3. 3. Add product value: complimentary EV charge and exterior wash on Business Class; none in official car parks for EV
  4. 4. Keep ULEZ out of both parking lines: APP does not cover it; TfL still applies if you drive a non-compliant car into the zone

That is an apples-to-apples valet parking Heathrow 2026 comparison: published official starting rates versus your live APP total, plus inclusions.

Book Heathrow Business Class for the next corporate trip

Business class airport parking Heathrow for corporate travellers is about custody, EV readiness and a clean return, not only a forecourt drop. APP Business Class Meet & Greet at Heathrow gives DBS-checked drivers, timestamped photos with odometer logs, a complimentary commercial EV charge aimed at 100% on return, and a premium exterior wash. Official Valet remains convenient, but it does not charge your EV in airport car parks. ULEZ is never covered by APP. Luton has no Business Class.
